Political Science Professor Michael Nelson and Penn State Dickinson Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Educational Equity Carla Pratt appeared on local television station WHVL’s “For The Record” show on Sunday, March 5, talking about the Supreme Court nomination process following the death of Justice Antonin Scalia.

Here, Professor Nelson discusses the politics of nominating a Supreme Court justice in today’s political climate.

Dean Pratt discusses a president’s ability to nominate a Supreme Court justice during the last year of presidency and her predictions for the type of justice President Obama may nominate.
